We still have some ornaments left on the Giving Tree at Newark Grade. If you are interested in purchasing items for our families, the ornaments are at Newark Grade School. The ornament and item will need to be dropped off at NGS by 12/13. Thanks in advance for your generousity!

We have fully restored power and are back up!! Thank you Ameren!

Phones are working at NGS! Classrooms are warm. We have water, bathrooms and we are learning! Ameren is on site. We will keep you updated!

Due to the down power line on Chicago road, Newark Grade has no phone service and limited power. We do have water and working bathrooms. We hope Ameren will restore to full power soon. We will keep you posted! Please call MJH if you need to contact us.

The K- 4 Winter Concert is at Millbrook Jr. High tonight. Doors will not open until 5:30 pm. Students will need to be there by 5:45 pm. Please enter through the sports entrance doors on the west side of the building. Thank you!

Just a reminder: 7th and 8th grade students will need a lunch from home for our field trip tomorrow!! Please no PJ pants tomorrow to the theater!

Hello families! It is that time of year when the "s" word is in the weather forecast! Please make sure your child has a coat, hat , gloves for outdoor recess (our 3 things!) After Thanksgiving, we will move to our 5 things - coat, hat, gloves, boots, snowpants. As a reminder, both schools recess outside as long as the combined wind/air temp is 18 degrees or higher.
