Out of an abundance of caution, Newark CCSD 66 will proceed with an elearning day on Tuesday, January 16 due to the Wind Chill Warning in effect. All after school activities are cancelled. The Board of Education will still meet at 6:30 pm at Millbrook Jr. High. Please make sure MJH students log in for attendance and assignments. NGS- check your emails for teacher communication. Wednesday we plan a normal school day. Stay warm.

Due to the Winter Weather Warning, Newark CCSD 66 will utilize an ELearning day for Friday. Students have been sent home with all the materials/instructions they need. Teachers are available by email from 9 - 2 pm. Elearning hours are 9 - 2 pm. Please stay safe and stay warm!
We will implement an ELearning Day for Tuesday, Jan. 9 due to incoming weather. NGS students do not have their chromebooks. Teachers will email families through Teacherease some assignments to complete. MJH - please check your google classrooms for assignments. Staff will be online from 9 am - 2 pm. Students are expected to work during that time frame. No Preschool. Any questions, please don't hesitate to email your teachers. PTO meeting via Zoom is still scheduled. Thank you to Karen Greer and Tiffany Morganegg for taking on the Holiday Shoppe this year. The kids had so much fun buying presents for family and friends.
Also thank you to Allison Sanders and Emily Zettergren for taking on the Holiday Concert this year. It was perfect tonight!
And we can't forget anyone who helped set up to tear down and anywhere in between, none of these event are possible without the help of our volunteers!
